Amber has been around animals all of her life. She has been involved in many aspects of the animal world since a very young age. She has worked at animal shelters, boarding kennels, several veterinary private practices and along side show dog breeders.
Animals have always been one of her biggest passions in life. She has been involved with breeding, show handling and grooming, lure coursing and herding in the dog world. She also has experience in breeding, showing and show grooming in the feline world. She has the knowledge and patience that it takes to style and pamper the canines and felines.
She started her apprenticeship as a pet stylist at the age of 16. Her older sister, who had been pet styling for the previous 6 years, owned her own grooming shop in Ft. Worth, Texas. She offered to teach Amber the art of pet styling. Amber caught on very quickly over the summer.
Throughout the years, Amber has perfected her own special techniques and personal style. She is always up for learning new techniques and incorporating them into her grooming through continuing education.
Amber's top priority while working is always the safety and well being of your beloved family pet. She believes that patience and a loving, gentle touch can convince even the shyest animal that all of this pampering isn't quite so bad after all!
Amber is currently enrolled in a photography course and will be adding that to the pet services as well as pet massage and animal communication.
Jasen is Amber’s husband. He is a tremendous help bathing, drying and lifting heavy animals. Jasen shares a love for animals and likes to help them feel comfortable and loved while being pampered. He is taking a grooming course and will soon be certified as a Pet Stylist and taking on his own clientele.
Jasen has completed his BS in Criminal Justice and is currently working towards his Masters. He is training to be a K9 handler and Decoy for K9 Ring Sports. His long term goal is to become a K9 trainer and Consultant for detection dogs & service dogs. He also has an interest in competing in the French Ring Sport with his Begian Malinois.
